Hudson County Community College oznamuje odchod Josepha D. Sansona do důchodu, jmenování Nicholase Chiaravallotiho

13. listopadu 2017, Jersey City, NJ – Prezident Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Glen Gabert, Ph.D. dnes oznámila, že Joseph D. Sansone, viceprezident akademie pro plánování a rozvoj a asistent prezidenta, odejde s účinností od 28. února 2018 do důchodu.
Dr. Gabert said the Board of Trustees has named Nicholas A. Chiaravalloti, J.D., Ed.D., to succeed Mr. Sansone. He will begin work at HCCC as Vice President for Planning and Development/Assistant to the President Designate effective December 1, 2017, and will assume full responsibility for that office on March 1, 2018.
Pan Sansone je celoživotním obyvatelem okresu Hudson. Navštěvoval Rutgers College a je absolventem The American Institute of Banking. Jeho kariéra, která trvá více než 50 let, začala ve First Jersey National Bank v Jersey City (kterou později získala Natwest Bank), kde zastával vedoucí pozice v retailovém bankovnictví. Je a byl aktivní v několika komunitních a profesních organizacích, včetně Hudson Hospice, Rotary Club of Jersey City-Daybreak, American Conference on Diversity, Securities Information Center of the SEC Lost Securities Program - New York, Institutional Advancement Affinity Group of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, Destination Jersey City, Northeast Jersey Bankers Association, West Hudson/South Bergen Optimist Club, Pavonia Girl Scout Council, Hoboken Salvation Army a Hoboken Kiwanis.
HCCC Board of Trustees Chair William J. Netchert, Esq. said: “Joseph Sansone has been tireless in his efforts on behalf of the College’s students. Under his leadership, the HCCC Foundation has flourished and grown in a way that benefits all the people of Hudson County and especially our Hudson County Community College students. I know I speak on behalf of the entire Board of Trustees when I say that we are very grateful to Joe, and wish him the very best.”
“For nearly twenty years Joe Sansone has been an integral part of the College’s administration,” said Dr. Gabert. “Over the years, the Foundation has awarded more than 1,625 scholarships totaling more than $2,650,000 to deserving students. We now have a program to help incoming students prepare to succeed in their college work. Cultural enrichment programs are offered for the entire community. The Foundation Art Collection now includes more than 1,000 works of art. It has been my honor to work with Joe and we are eternally grateful for all he has done.”

Doktor Chiaravalloti, celoživotní člen komunity Bayonne, který má bakalářský titul na The Catholic University of America, získal právnický titul na Rutgers School of Law a doktorát z vedení vyššího vzdělávání na Saint Peter's University. Jeho profesionální akademická zkušenost zahrnuje posledních šest let působení na Saint Peter's University, kde byl výkonným ředitelem Guariniho institutu pro vládu a vedení, zástupcem viceprezidenta pro mezinárodní dosah / komunitní zapojení a členem otce Johna Corridana.
Právní zkušenosti Dr. Chiaravallotiho zahrnují založení poradenské firmy ANJ, LLC, působení jako partner v advokátní kanceláři Weiner a Lesniak, LLP, založení a působení jako partner Magis Strategies a Chiaravalloti, LLC. Chiaravalloti sloužil na místní, státní a federální úrovni vlády – jako výkonný ředitel místního úřadu pro přestavbu Bayonne a jako státní ředitel amerického senátora Roberta Menendeze. Od roku 2016 působí jako poslanec zastupující voliče 31. legislativního obvodu v New Jersey.
