Diana Galvezová

Diana Gálvez má více než deset let zkušeností s prací ve vysokoškolském vzdělávání. Posledních patnáct let pracovala v oblasti studentského života, studentských služeb a akademických záležitostí. Dianin příběh, který pochází z Dominikánské republiky, se prolíná s pulsující tapisérií Hudson County. Zde dokončila své formativní vzdělání K-12 a podnítila její vášeň pro učení. Vystudovala Magna Cum Laude na Hudson County Community College s Associate of Arts in Sociology v květnu 2017. Poté, co dokončila pozorovací studium v ​​New Delhi, Agra a Ahmedabad, Indie, dokončila v lednu 2020 bakalářský titul na New Jersey City University v sociologii a antropologii. Diana is deeply committed to fostering student success at the North Hudson Campus, where she serves as Associate Director, guiding students and connecting them with essential resources. In her role as a CSS Instructor, she prepares students for their college journey and actively encourages campus involvement. Diana also contributes significantly as an advisor for the Latin Society and co-advisor for the Active Minds Chapter of HCCC, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. She leads the social connections and communications subgroup for the JED Campus initiative and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion as co-chair of the President’s Advisory Council on Institutional Engagement and Excellence. Additionally, Diana co-facilitates La Hermanidad, a vital support group that offers invaluable guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
